A Dream That Makes More Sense Then Usual!?! The World Is Going To END!! xD

Tonight I had 2 dreams 1 nonsensical which I already forgot by now and one weirdly awesome I can still remember and want to write down.


The Dream.
I dreamt about some old dude in a big new age house filled with art. It was night and he was quietly and quickly walking upstairs to a platform (under which art was stored.). It felt like I was watching an episode of an old detective series on Nederland 1.  Any way it seemed he was walking to a hall which has lots of handles which open an close doors. It seems he was trying to hold an art thief inside the building. And he succeeded, But he knew the villain was coming his way so he decided to ambush him (with handcuffs). I actually was seeing this dream in third person for some reason like I was watching the show. So I actually saw the villain, Who was a white guy in orange jumpers, glasses and with spiky hair blond hair and blue highlights. Yeah... I'd be able to take him... Any way the old guy actually got hold of him pretty easily by knocking him out with a big book. He cuffed the criminal to himself. And he dragged him towards some puff cushions and they said down. The old dude called the cops. Only for some weird reason he contacted the SPD hotline... He said he apprehended a criminal and he needs an immediate arrest team. The lady on the line said that they only have one agent available, Tekkan Aira... Yeah... Degraded from SPD's Tokkyou division to just arresting common Earth crooks... STILL BEATS BEING A DAMN BALL OF LIGHT!!. The old guy said that would do and asks the lady on the line if the SPD library might need more books, As he has an wide collection he likes to get right off. He held up his book and I saw that it was written by Marika Reimon (it was my dream after all I guess xD) And then the criminal would have something to read on his way to prison. The SPD hotline lady thanks the man and says Tetsu is on his way. She hangs up and the man turns to the criminal. Saying ''O apparently I was talking about no one'' The criminal was gone, that side of the handcuffs being empty. And all the art in the building was gone and it seemed to have been done during the phone call.

Sadly I woke up before being able to see Tetsu in action again. And even worse it was already past 12. Luckily I don't have to work today

Fan-Fic Laziness: Void & Shinigami

First of all I made two similiar characters first. One was Shinigami_Rider who was an ever evolving freak of nature from a bug like race. Who made him to explore space since they died as soon as they hit their out atmosphere. Sooner or later this bug like creature was meant to evolve in to a cross between a Lovecraftian horror and a Kamen Rider.... Who could mimic the powers of other Riders (even though they are fictional in that universe too) with the help of shadows and his own being as well as having god-like powers at the same time. The other was Void who was meant to be your average Toku Hero with powers similar to lets say... Green Lantern? No, even better yet his son Obsidian! And also Marvel's The Spot. He could transform with the help of a black brace and it gives him what seems to be a leather suit. His powers are to be able to mould objects from the blackness of his suit. And travel through shadows like the Spot did with his black holes. And has further powers similar to Danny Phantom like becoming intangible/shape shifting . But instead of his powers being powered by shadows his powers are actually powered by the light that lines them out. I have thought about continuing both but the Void story did kind of bore me and the Shinigami_Rider still need all those grammar fixes...... And I don't feel like fixing up something soooo long.

Any way Shinigami_Rider will get some new material someday. But Void will get a whole new storyline And maybe fix on his powers. I dunno... I always felt like I made him to powerful yet to weak....

20th Jetman Anniversary Part 3: The final Combinations

And now we have reached the final blog. This time for the combinations of the two mecha.

Hyper Haken:

   

Hyper Haken is in one word HUMONGOUS!! The worst part is that this is the way it was packed. Clipped on a huge cardboard wrapped in foil paper. So this might be the big reason why some parts and stickers where scratched. I can't say its not awesome though. I do like it when you spread out Garuda's wings making it even bigger. The only real difference with this one and the official version is that this version has a huge piece of plastic that you can clip under the formation to keep everything together. The sad part is those damn rockets!!
They are not supposed to be there. And it doesn't exactly look good. Which is why I plan remove them at a later date.

But in the light of the Abaranger Tribute of Gokaiger I just had to try an arm swap xD It does work though! And it does actually look pretty cool with them :)

Man this thing is awesome. Sure there are stickers missing on the wing design that takes some of the awesome away. The arms are still switched around, and the blue on Jet Swallow is still to dark... The legs are not really clipped on that good... So bad in fact that picking it up lets them fall off... And lets not forget that the Garuda head hasn't exactly got a clip to begin with... And that the wings on the back are now unmovable because of the wheels on the back of Great Icarus.... But the size of this Sentai mecha awesome thing make up for all that!! This thing towers above all the Megazords I have!! And due to the Owl and Swallow clips it does make it somewhat more posable almost like the arms on the Thunder Megazord :D

So now it also owns my Tiger Megazord in size! Yeah It really dwarves everything I ever got (Should have bought that Fortress Maximus)

My collection (not that this is not really my full collection) is growing pretty fast. And I hope to be able to blog about Gokaioh on Talk Like A Pirate Day. But I think I am not going to make it... We'll see, Bye! :)

20th Jetman Anniversary Part 2: KO Jet Garuda

 

The Jetman set isn't just Jet Icarus. Its also the second mecha of Jetman. The alien built Jet Garuda.

Man this bird mode is EPIC!! It easily falls apart because of the weight and the weak tabs but other then that its size makes it pure awesome!! The pictures could have been better. But I sadly don't own the many Tamashii stages that could have hold it up xD

So yeah.... When I actually changed this thing for the first time I didn't really noticed HOW F#ING HUGE IT REALLY IS! My god this is where the €30 went!! In the shipping cost for this damn thing!! Aside from that remark I really like this thing. Its mostly the same size and quality as the original Garuda. The only real difference are the chest piece stickers which where diecast on the original if I recall. All this thing needed to have are new sticker with silver lining all around them. Also about those weak clips, When clipping on the left the panels that keep the chest together aren't that tight. So when I try to clip on those legs the 2 parts keep bending in really scary ways. I <3 the wingspan btw
Size Comparisons 
Damn this thing is fun to put next to another bug mecha and comparing the sizes lol So yeah here's some pictures to compare it with:

First the most logical choice, comparing it with Jet Icarus.... You can see why I think I bought Garuda instead of Icarus xD

With its wingspan it trumps the Super Kakure Daishogun's / Falcon Ninja Megazord's wing span by just a bit.

And now with the two biggest bots I got. Big Albert and the Thunder Megazord! Man these get owned easily xD

The only thing that I got that seems to go bigger then those is my Mega Tigerzord and that's only because of those dumb shoulder pats xD

20th Jetman Anniversary Part 1: KO Jet Icarus

This week we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Choujin Sentai Jetman! And weirdly enough this is the first time I actually can buy stuff on-line. So I bought the recently released Jetman set at KO Toys for my birthday. This included Jet Icarus the mecha of the Jetman. And in the light of Jetman's tribute episode in Gokaiger, I will gladly show this thing off ^^

Jet Condor

Lets start with Jetcondor the Jetmachine of Black Condor aka Gai Yuuki. The most manly and awesome Sentai hero of them all!! He's the one who returned for this week's episode.... Even though he may have died at the end of the series. This thing is 99% the same as the original toy. The only things that had been changed are a few stickers. Most notable the Jet Condor text line needs to be red.

Jet Swan

Jet Swan is the same deal just different wings and a different cockpit. The white kinda sets of the colour scheme of this plane. But between the 3 jet types for the main 5 mecha I do like these the most

Combo's

    

Yeah its not official AT ALL. But I like toying with the idea that Gai would help Kaori out because she's afraid again. And the two discover not only a double flight mode but also a tank mode xD

Jet Owl

   

Jet Owl is pretty! That is.... from one side... Yeah apparently the Chinese company that made the KO was afraid that kids would switch  around Jet Owl and Jet Swallow. So for each its yellow on the right side and blue on the other side. And Stupidly the numeral stickers where switched too! So I got a stanley knife and switched them around xD Not much else to say here. I do wish they included some claws though much like those used in the series.

I like this one more the Jet Owl. I think its due to the shield of Icarus actually becoming the wings for Jet Swallow. But the shield itself is a bit annoying as the clips that hold it together are uneven. And I am frankly sad that the didn't take the trouble to correct the colour to the actual light blue its supposed to have. Still I can look past all that. I like the cockpit of this one. Especially the point forming a beak. ^^

So much FAIL! I mean man this thing sucks! Firstly I knew it would turn out to be a blocky chunk of plastic with the connectors where the arms a supposed to connect clearly visible. I also knew about the crappy hiding system of said wings. But what I did not know what how messy it is to form it as it is. Its like its missing a whole lot of connection tabs that are supposed to keep everything together. But that ain't the real problem. The head/cockpit is the problem. I know its supposed to turn inside the body but somehow they made it so that the head always tilts down all a bit so everything comes loose as soon as one breathes on it or even looks at it. Lame Red Ranger mecha is LAME!

So this is Jetman's full on homage to Gatchaman! Icarus Haken! Its cool. but putting it together and taking it apart is a bitch to live through. Even if you got the Swan and Condor parts in the cockpit/foot part keeps coming loose so you'd actually have to be very careful picking it up. Also the sticker are reverse on the Jet Hawk part. So it actually looks to be upside down. This has annoyed my so much that I tried to carefully remove the stickers and switch them around. But sadly from the first second it looked to be a failure. the stickers are very thin and the glue is really strong. So I got not choice but to leave it like that!. Unless Reprolabels come out with their stickers I requested like twice now.

Jet Icarus

     

Forming the Jet Icarus is not as bad as CCLemon99 claims IMO. I liked putting it together and the steps are fairly easy. But I do agree that this thing didn't deserve to be a die-cast bot. Its pretty fine for a KO btw. The part where metal used to be are pretty solid. Even without the metal. And though the chrome did get damaged on the trip from Hong Kong its still a good grade for a 3rd party company. There where a few annoyances though. Mostly stickers of course. Firstly both feet need stickers. The Condor part needs a white sticker with a vent pattern on it, and the swan part needs a similar vent sticker too. Also the numeral stickers on the arm where switched around. So blue was on Jet Owl and Yellow was on Blue Swallow. Like I said these where easily switched around but where annoying non the less. Putting that all aside I love the design of this thing its so old school! and this before the DaiZyuJin who took a massive leap to mostly non-boxy looking Megazords. I like the blade and shield. But I can't seem to let it hold the damn gun upright with out letting it fall down. So I had to put it like its aiming at the sky.

Overall I am very happy with this buy especially with that great timing of mine :D Lets leave you guys with something AWESOME!:

I'll change the actual video if it turns out to be really really slow. But I'll only do it of TV-Nihon releases their version.
