Old Comics!

I mostly own comic from the late 70's to early 90's and a few new ones. But Today I bought ALLOT of these and one that I am quite happy about!!

The first Dutch Captain Marvel comic!! This was released in 1969 2 years after the actual début of Mar-vell
And I paid just 0.50 for it!!

Carol was still a cowering fool back then! Opposed to the punch first talk later fool she is now xD

As you can see the original comics from the 70's still had direct translations for the titles. So the Fantastic Four where de Vier Verdedigers in the late 60's early 70's for Holland 

The translations can sometimes be horrible like here with the Hulk. If you translate this back to English the direct translation is The Raw Lump.... WTF man!! Also Aqualad's dutch name is Aquajong... Laaaaaaame.

Barry and Pete got the same treatment. The Amazing Spiderman gets translated to De Wonderbaarlijke Spinneman, and the Flash get de Flits lol I thought the comic was older because the comic implies it being from the Silver Age, but both these comics are sadly from 1969

Really? Couldn't you guys switch!?! I want an silver age comic with Star Sapphire fighting Hal Jordan! That would be so awesome! Instead we got... Clark.. Moving on!

Sadly no Super Dickery in my old Superman comics,  I wish I had some. There seems to be so many lol

I now got both the first Dutch Captain Marvel comic and the one about his death. I feel more complete now lol. Any way that's about it. Nothing more to point out. Bye! :)

S.H.Figuarts Cure Passion

Fresh Pretty Cure!, is the 2009 instalment of the Pretty Cure franchise. Which is the franchise Toei started on to basically make a modern day Sailor Moon (though looking back that has been almost every magical girl show after Sailor Moon lol) This series however is my favourite followed by the original Futari wa Pretty Cure.

The main 3 heroines are Cure Peach, Cure Pine, and Cure Berry who battle Labyrinth, An organization bent on conquering all Dimensions in the name of their lord Mebius ruler of the Labyrinth dimension. (No not the awesome Ultraman). The 3 villains who bring out the monsters of the week are Westar, Solar, and Eas. They do this to gather Misfortune Energy. Eas being the most dedicated of the 3 decided to spy on the Cures over the course of the series by becoming Love's ''friend'' Till in one battle after almost sacrificing her life with a risky summoning charm, she revealed her identity and broke the necklace which Peach bought for her a few episodes back and declared that she was never her friend. After some drama you really should see for yourself, She and Cure Peach have an awesome final battle which end which Mebius revealing to her colleagues Westar and Solar that her live is up. Luckily the plot fairy key called Akarun decided she was the 4th Pretty Cure and revived her in to the awesome Cure Passion!

To tell you the truth I waited so long with this blog because this thing is such a bitch to pose. By the end of the day I did not even care if these photo's where good enough lol

The problem is the material combined with Cure Passion's design. She has long hair made from a strong non-flexible plastic. And it might look good on this photo but its actually hollow. This makes the neck unstable. And combined with the long end on the back of the dress makes one side of this figure top heavy.
What's even worse is that they gave her high heels. All you need now are weak ankle joints and this thing in pretty prone to fall down... And they did give her those!! *face palm*

Any way moving on the accessories, This is pretty much all she got. Standard hands for all her poses and her weapon called the Passion Harp. Which is the thing I liked most about this set. its so beautifully moulded and painted. She also got 2 faces, Another face that doesn't look much different from the one she already got as standard, and an angry face. You know this kinda pisses me off. Setsuna is the Pretty Cure of Happiness!! Why o Why didn't they include some sort of happy face? Neutrality and anger aren't all of her emotions :P

What I am missing here is the Red phone and akarun which she uses to transform and summon her Passion Harp

I would have at least expect them to put that in, Then again if they actually put some effort in to it, It would have been less cheap lol

Another thing that annoys me is that one of the arms is to loose. It keeps falling out of position. And the most annoying thing about this is the torso. The hair leans on the torso making it heavy. making it look like she's standing like... Well me. No matter how hard I tried I could get it right, Every time I tried to straighten her back she falls flat on her butt lol

This thing has so many glaring faults that its not worth it at all, But I am still happy non the less. I bought her because I like the character, And at least I know now that I should not buy S.H.Figuarts with high heels. Last thing I'd like to say is that you should not buy this. Its cheap at 17 with shipping tops , But its not really worth it. What you could try is to watch the show which has been finished being fansubbed by Curecom. Its totally worth your time
And Another Thing...
Since I am already talking about the cutesy girly stuff, Imma talk about ponies now :D

I have been trying to get some of these for a while now but I never actually found some in here in Holland. I ordered the gold Applejack from a Chinese seller (who probably stole it from a factory) Its from the upcoming set 4 and it has no extra copy right stamp on its hind hoof. Think its an reject from the point where they put on the eyes because when you look closely its kinda derped on the left eye :)

As for the others it turned out they where just at the blokker away from the rest of the MLP stuff. They where just 1.99 per piece and I kinda forgot the code thingy. Not that it made much of a difference since they removed that code for wave 4. Still I doubt its going to be hard to find the princesses in wave 5 lol

And I got stickers! What am I going to do with these? Dunno really. But I put this Twilightlicious one on my HDD xD

Dream blog: The Bungalow

This dream felt like a day out.

It started with me entering a kitchen, It was an old Dutch bungalow. It felt like we lived there for a few weeks already and that we where in Brabant which is to the north east from here. We where sharing the bungalow with 4 Japanese students 1 guy, 3 girls.

I was in the kitchen helping set the table while 2 of the 3 girls where cooking, my mom was smoking in the garden with the dude. They where kinda bored. And suddenly the girl who was helping me kissed me, and we hugged. That was nice. Then the doorbell rang and the owner of the bungalow was there with some politicians. The politicians demanded we leave the premise for a while because they needed to hold a premise. We agreed since we where hurrying any ways, There was this late night convention going on in some huge complex with a theatre and stuff. And we where hurrying up so we could leave. So the girl who apparently liked me ran upstairs and closed all the doors, and we left. Think the food was still there but who cares, its a dream.

We waited for the bus which came once a half hour (still better then Delft) and we arrived soon. As I mentioned earlier this complex was big for a place in the middle of nowhere. We had 2 of the several floors. 1 was for paranormal and mineral stuff and 2 was for a toy convention, not unlike botcon or something. The girl who liked me hogged my arm and dragged me to the toy stuff. I found a Masterpiece Soundwave (does that even exist?) for a bargain. We hang out some more and snuggled. Strangely I do not remember dreaming that there where any toku toys there... My mom got a huge smokekwarts though. And just when we headed out to see a movie (I forgot what movie) we meet up with Horatiolikestoy form some reason. (dunno why she'd be at a con in Holland. seems like a waste of money) And she suddenly began to bargain on my Masterpiece Soundwave. Even though all I did was show it to her. I told her I was not planning on selling it and yet she continued.

Then I woke up and  I was out of my bed lol. I liked this dream... Almost wish this dream was real. That girl was adorable. Kinda think of it this is only the second time I dreamt about a Japanese girl that wasn't my ex-girlfriend... man now I am sad. Give me more of those dreams plz! xD

Weird Alternate Future Timeline Dream?

This is what I dreamed yesterday:

I dreamt that I had an 3rd older sister who worked as a cop and got brought to my grandparents home from the hospital by her colleagues because she got shot in the leg. It was an birthday of sorts we where all there. My niece Lynn seemed to be 10 years old (she's only a few months old at present) and my sister Pauline was mad at her because she was running around allot. My Aunt and her boyfriend where watching tv with my grandpa. My Grandma was playing Patience as always. My mom was in the kitchen with the fiancée of my sister Tatyana and the boyfriend of my sister Pauline cutting cake and setting tea.

The garden in the back was gone having been replaced by normal street tiles. And It was like I was watching this in 3rd person because I was sitting next to my sister Tatyana in the garden eating cake and toying on the laptop. Which is weird because I remember opening the door and commenting on the ugly danger yellow of the ambulance.

Alternate time line? I am not uncomfortable to say that I did had a chance to have another sibling. But the sibling would have been born after I was and not born before my sister Tatyana. This was like being a Slider... a total wtf dream.

Finally after 8 years!! France Five Episode 5!!

So yeah after a 8 years hiatus they finally released episode 5 and I loved it! Its good to see the crew back this show has been interesting since the start. My French sucks but I could understand most of it. Non the less I'll try to keep stuff mostly spoiler free :3

Even though it was filled with stereotypes. I liked this episode, Especially how it introduces new characters who are not only interesting but also powerful.

 And the end twist was AWESOME even though I already spoiled myself by going to a website of one of the prop makers. The last episode will be Episode 6 which hasn't got an release date yet.

As you know this is an epic year for Tokusatsu,  Not only do we finally get a new episode of this ''Hikonin Sentai'' But also a EX series by Toei called Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger. Of course this is old news because we're sadly almost done with this 12 episode long show. And it just got so awesome that I want to put it on this blog... But because the subs aint out just yet: SPOILERS

Sad to see it go really. I'd really want to see a movie of this, Maybe with some actors doing a cameo. Maybe some Power Ranger references thrown it to it? :D Speaking of movies at least another Hikonin Sentai is getting a movie, This isn't news either but I don't care Imma post them all!!

Eito Ranger is supposed to be a comedy but this is looking great. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint. Though seeing how this is  Kanaji8 I doubt that is going to happen, all good actors who played in drama's I liked, and I have to admit that I like their music too. Not all but some of their songs are cool. Also is it just me or is this plot allot like Voicelugger? Eito Ranger is about a veteran hero gathering new heroes to aid him... O well at least they'll do Ishinomori justice :D BTW Speaking of Hikonin Sentai and comedy, The people who made Aikoku Sentai Dai-Nihon are also bringing out something new. A series... THAT ISN'T DAI-NIHON!?!

EA's Rock doesn't look like something I'd like. But then again its Gainax so its bound to be funny and wacky and borderline offensive just because we expect them to... But why make a new show? You should have gone all out and just make a sequel to the 1 episode you released so long ago. You don't even need to bring back the same actors since age is a factor... I guess I'll give it a try, after all we haven't heard anything about it since Gekidan's article on Jefusion.

About That Box

When posting the Legend Mobirates + Ranger keys blog I forgot about the box I keep my Heisei Ranger Keys in lol

I found it by chance at an antique shop. It was just 5 euro's and it fits 28 keys in total. I even have space left for future Red Keys

I Could have used my old treasure chest with Gold, Silver and Copper. But To be fair. My dad bought it in Spain at a gift shop for like a few peseta. In fact that is what its holding! Leftover money that has no real purpose any more! Also Guldens. I Got like 35 Gulden left in there :3

But then again it is smaller and because my new one is flat I have a place to put my Bandpresto Shin Ichigo belt :D

Okay enough talking about the boxes. But not about the Ranger keys just yet. Since the final of France Five was close I decided to make a Red Fromage Key. Sadly It failed and I decided to make my Void key first. Luckily I got like 5 other Go Red Gashapon Keys coming in. I'll be posting my failures soon enough :)

Lastly in one of my old boxes I found my old goddess statues and promptly put them on display immediately. Athena is still the most beautiful :)

That's about it. Hope to start the other blog soon. I just need the item to make photo's off and I am finished.
